PPCW.Net - HOW TO: Setting Up a GPRS Connection for Win XP and USB using O2 xda III was very pleased to be able to get this working, the trick to getting it going after the first time, was to:
Activate the Modem on the XDA II
THEN plug the USB cable into the Laptop
Activate the Dialler
I also discoved I had to disable Active Sync connecting on the Laptop AND on the Pocket PC
