Now you may say, why bother? I've already got software to do this! My thinking is, Google have the talent and the funds to develop something really good here, competition is a good thing. It's thanks to google that we all have mre space in our free email accounts and a future IE7. So give it a go, just to keep the competition on their toes!

Who needs iTunes!

MP3 Downloads, music mp3 downloads. ALLOFMP3.

I started using iTunes at Christmas when I got my iPod mini, but recently my Brother-in-law pointed me towards this site and it is waaaay better. Here are the immediate differences.

Cost: ALLOFMP3 costs less than €1 for any CD
Selection: Much, much, much bigger on ALLOFMP3
Convenience: ALLOFMP3 has a download program you can use, or just use a browser. Just as easy as iTunes.
Format: MP3 on ALLOFMP3 or AAC that only works on an iPod from iTunes, I know which I prefer. MP3s are easy to copy to multiple Computers ( I have 3) whereas I can't do that with Apple's format.
Preview: I can listen to all of an Album free online with ALLOFMP3. But only 10 seconds of a track on iTunes.

Finally, amazingly, under Russian law, it's legal too!

Finally found a solution, very annoying that something like this was done. What happened was my stylesheet was being overwridden, so I was stuck with Verdana 12pt instead of 10pt.
